Ichthyosis Awareness Month

The first time I heard that word it gave me an answer to questions I’d been asking for years. Sitting in the dermatologist office I had an answer, a description, and a prescription. My daughter has Ichthyosis Vulgaris. Finally, a diagnosis. What I didn’t have was a solution. Just a regiment of lotions.
Through the journey of Ichthyosis, I’ve met some amazing people. The most inspirational is Carly. She is focusing on Ichthyosis Awareness this month. I highly suggest to head over there and follow her. Why? Well one day this month you might just see someone you know!

About Kimberly Vogel

I am a mom of four beautiful daughters, a writer, and a certified Early Childhood and Elementary Teacher who recently made the switch from teaching in a classroom to teaching her children at home. I am often found in the children’s area of my church where I volunteer and lead a children’s program. Writing is a natural outpouring of my love for my Savior. Follow along while I share my journey as a bridge builder with you. My prayer is that you start building bridges too!
